prana

If you inhale many galaxies
I shall re-invent you as a god
and exhale a nebula of light.

If the exhalation decompresses
into a grave and infinite density
I shall blackly breathe your words.

If neither happens
I shall endlessly repeat myself.

  1. The rhythm of these words and the depth of their meaning is thrilling, Gerry. Thanks. It makes me think of the mythological characters, Echo and Narcissus.

  4. Gerry,

Out of this world. Energetic and surely some utterances of 'To be sure, To be sure, To be sure.' Triple cosmic repetition...Irish style.

    Best wishes, Eileen

  5. ... a neat response motif, and the terse yet wiggly ultimatums are also quite compelling.
